Join us for an engaging presentation with Chris Henry, the museum director at the Experimental Aircraft Association Aviation Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The EAA Aviation Museum proudly showcases personal artifacts belonging to astronaut Col. Frank Borman. Chris Henry was among the museum staff who visited Col. Borman’s ranch in Montana to collect and prepare these remarkable items for the Borman Collection, marking the beginning of a lasting friendship. Come listen as Mr. Henry shares his cherished memories of Col. Borman and fascinating insights about Apollo 8 and the remarkable individuals behind the mission.

Journey back to the golden age of space exploration with The Space Museum and Grissom Center’s traveling exhibit, on loan to the main branch library. Discover rare artifacts, authentic mission gear, and captivating stories from the Apollo era and beyond!

Step inside the immersive SkyDome Star Planetarium and experience the stars and sights just as the Apollo 8 astronauts saw them on their historic voyage. Then, gaze through telescopes on loan and operated by the Astronomical Association of Southeast Missouri to discover celestial wonders firsthand.
