CALL FOR ENTRY:

The Poplar Bluff Library invites you to submit a piece of artwork for our upcoming art exhibition Remarkably Bright Objects. This exhibition coincides with the library's community read program, The Book in the Bluff. This year's selected title is Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. "Lost and found" is among the book's themes and motifs and the inspiration behind the found objects art exhibition. Although participation in The Book in the Bluff program is always encouraged, it's not necessary for submitting an artwork to this call for entry.

GUIDELINES / ELIGIBILITY:

This call for entry is open to anyone ages 18+. Artwork must be original works of art that incorporate found objects. Open to all forms and mediums. Entry forms and full guidelines can be found on our website at poplarbluff.org/artshow. This is a non-juried, community-based project.

Entry is open until 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 25th. Completed artworks may be dropped off at the library’s Main Branch during regular hours: Mondays through Thursdays from 9am-7pm, Fridays from 9am-5pm, and Saturdays from 11am-3pm. All submissions must be accompanied by a completed and signed entry form.
