Genealogy
Always, always, always cite sources. The most common mistake for beginning genealogists is thinking you'll remember where you found a piece of information a decade later!
  • Step 1: Start with yourself.
  • Step 2: Add what you know about your family.
  • Step 3: Ask family for additional information. Dates, places, records, anything that might provide a clue.
  • Step 4: Where do you look next? At the library of course! Explore this page to find the many resources available with long lost relatives just waiting to be found.
