The library board of trustees are appointed by the mayor with city council approval as mandated by the Code of Ordinances of the City of Poplar Bluff, MO (Sec. 17-18). The board consists of nine city residents who serve 3 year terms. A maximum of 3 consecutive terms or 9 years may be served by any one board member.
The board meets the first Monday of every month at 4 p.m. in the Library Conference Room. |
