The library strives to meet the special needs of each and every patron. This means incorporating materials such as large print books and books on cassett and CD into the collection of regular print titles. Currently, the library holds over 1,500 large print books, nearly 600 books on tape and over 450 books on CD to better serve the special needs community.
The library provides Internet access computer stations with easily veiwable 17" flat panel monitors seated on wheelchair compatible desks.
The library exceeds the required disability standards, by offering its patrons ground level parking and an oversized elevator. Restrooms on both levels of the library are equipped to accommodate those with special needs.
