The mission shall be to develop and maintain an association of persons interested in the Poplar Bluff Public Library, to promote knowledge of the Library's functions, resources, services and needs, to aid in the development of a program for the resources, and to receive and encourage gifts of books and other library materials, endowments and bequeaths to said Library. The Corporation recognizes special opportunities for the Poplar Bluff Public Library and undertakes and supports fund raising activities that provide resources to enable the Library to capitalize on these opportunities. The Corporation recognizes donors and provides strength for the growth, visibility and excellence and the continued improvement of the Poplar Bluff Public Library.
