The Library just took an even bigger step into the digital age: The ever-popular Amazon Kindle is now compatible with the Library's Download Station.
If you're a Kindle user, this is the announcement you've been waiting for. The addition means even more cardholders can access the Library's growing eBook collection, which currently includes nearly 2,000 titles.
According to information from OverDrive, the library's digital-resource lending system, eBooks can be downloaded directly to the Kindle wirelessly by first choosing and borrowing them through a desktop computer or with a full-featured browser on a tablet.
Need help navigating the OverDrive waters with your Kindle or other device? Bring your gadget to the library during Tech Talk Thursday hours, each week from 4 to 7 p.m., for hands-on help from friendly staff.
